Fulvio Caldini
Fulvio Caldini was born in Arezzo (Italy) in 1959 ; he graduated at the high school in the conservatory of music in Florence in 1977 and in piano in 1982 as a pupil of Giorgio Sacchetti. Then he followed master classes in chamber music at the King Alfred’s College in Winchester under John Blakely, and in Florence under Franco Rossi. He studied harmony and counterpoint under Franco Cioci for four years and harpsichord under Anna Maria Pernafelli for 2 years.He was prized at the competitions in Stresa, Cagliari and Rome.
He is an active pianist, harpsichord and keyboards player and collaborated with different orchestras and ensembles playing in various european and american countries. Just related to these experiences he recorded a CD for the ARTS label totally dedicated to Steve Reich’ s music.

He taught at the conservatories of Florence, Cosenza and Vibo Valentia, at the high school of music in Arezzo and at the musical institute in Modena. Actually he gets the tenure in chamber music at the conservatory of music in Milan.
As musicologist and correspondent, he edited works by Vivaldi and Donizetti for the Breitkopf & Haertel edition and published musical reviews on “La gazzetta della musica” and “I fiati”.
